Stacker welcomes Rishi Hingoraney as SVP, Revenue
Last year, Stacker made significant strides toward achieving our vision of building the world’s most accessible newswire. Doubling our team in 2022, our newsroom now produces hundreds of stories each month - national features, as well as across 384 metros - each syndicated freely to an ever-growing network of more than 2,000 publishers. With a focus on sustainability, we continue to partner with a growing list of world-class brands to produce and distribute engaging research-driven journalism.
Today, we take a big step towards accelerating that momentum as we welcome Rishi Hingoraney to our newly-created role of SVP Revenue at Stacker, where he will help expand our partnerships with leading brands.
Rishi has threaded a unique career that feels like the perfect preparation for helping take Stacker to the next level. Having thrived in roles both supporting world-class news organizations, as well as helping marketers drive efficient growth, I am thrilled to bring Rishi into the Stacker fold as we set out to change the way journalism is funded, produced and distributed.
Rishi joins Stacker from Ibotta, a performance marketing platform, where he led the team responsible for partnering with thousands of retailers to reach millions of customers. Prior to Ibotta, Rishi worked in a variety of roles in the news media space–he held senior business and public affairs positions at NPR from 2010 to 2017, and represented both public TV stations and community newspaper publishers in Washington as a federal lobbyist before that. This experience equipped him with a deep understanding of the challenges facing diverse stakeholders in today’s digital media ecosystem: publishers, brands and readers.
